My friend Neil Cranmer at UCB raves about this lady and listening to her third album he's going to struggle to avoid placing every song contained here on his play list! Still mainly unknown in this country, this album could change all that. Simply, this is a corker without a single duff song! Aimed unashamedly at the Christian marketplace, Cleveland's acoustic rock treatments of classics like "Revive Us Again", "Power In The Blood" and "Holy, Holy, Holy" only go to prove that she is an exceptional singer able to bring them to life. She seems able to summon more emotion in one line than most singers manage in a whole album. Whether worshipping, singing, pleading or testifying, Cleveland must have one of the most expressive voices in Christendom. One of the most touching songs on the album is the ballad "There's A Light" which was written by one of Cleveland's closest friends after the death of her husband. It speaks of our hope on "the other side". Musically, this album is in true Cleveland style. Plenty of acoustic guitar coupled with electric flavourings leaving loads of space for that voice to shine through. Love it.
