This debut mini album is a taster for a full-length album due out later this year. The Buildings are a North Carolina based four-piece who play squeaky-clean, fresh-faced contemporary rock.  Their sound is perfectly polished and beautifully produced. The six songs on the EP are half-electric, half-acoustic and paint a picture of a band with potential. Hopefully that level of potential can be reached in the future because, for all it's professionalism, 'Glory Defined' is, well, pretty bland. Sure it's good rock, but it ain't gonna frighten your granny, in fact she might dig it. That criticism aside, it's pleasant enough stuff. The band have recently been touring with Sonicflood and will find a fanbase amidst the devotees of bands of their ilk. I hope they put a few more coals on the fire for their album.
