A mix of music old and new sensitively played by Charles David Smart and his acoustic guitar. The song list has all sorts; classic hymns and traditional gospel songs, with a modern one or two thrown in - Rich Mullins's "Awesome God" is here, as is Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene's "Mary Did You Know" medleyised with "Oh How He Loves You And Me" by Kurt Kaiser. There are, however, one or two tracks that could easily have been chopped and no one would have missed them; "People Get Ready" gets a plodding synth backing and is a pseudo-Christian song anyway; and the next track "0 Come All Ye Faithful" is one minute and 17 seconds tootled out on what sounds like a very cheap Casio keyboard. Those glitches apart, most of this is good quality stuff, and might have an appeal for those who need to chill out and relax after a stressful day.
