Such was the lightning mainstream success of the 12 year old Welsh schoolgirl that the Christian bookshops have been very slow to get this into the racks even though this set contains classical evergreens like "Pie Jesu" and "The Lord's Prayer". But now the subculture too has caved in to the undoubted appeal of that stunningly beautiful voice. Even songs which bask in gooey sentimentality ("Danny Boy" and "My Lagan Love") come to transcendent life thanks to the breathtakingly pure tone and quality of THAT voice. Charlotte really is a huge talent and though one might query whether the dear lass is indeed a Christian, this album's ability to introduce the glories of classical music to hundreds of thousands of album buyers cannot be dismissed, Voice of an angel indeed.
