When Cross Rhythms reviewed the four-CD box set 'The Complete Songs Of Praise And Devotion' we expressed our disappointment that the release did not come with a CD booklet. This omission has now been rectified with this A5 size booklet which brings together the lyrics of all the songs on the CD boxset as well as a set of radio scripts written by Clemo in 2002/3 for one minute thought-for-the day items for a local radio station. Some of these are very good as are his lyrics, particularly his UCB radio hit "Running On Empty" and a personal favourite, "Liquidiser", which is a clever expose of churches who water down the Gospel in an attempt to make it more palatable. If you're a supporter of the veteran once known as the "Kettering Cowboy" you may well want this book to go with his CD collection.
