A fine saxophone player, David is a member of the New English Orchestra and a chamber ensemble, so consequently plays gentler, less jazz-inclined lines than the superlative playing of the British Churches other two premier division saxmen Dave Fitzgerald and Mike Haughton. But his lyrical, subdued playing is well suited to the slower worship material (like "God Of Grace" and "Reign In Me" presented here) but sounds a tad stiff on the more uptempo praise songs. Usual expert production from Chris Norton and undoubtedly another popular album in a popular series.
