The British 12-strong gospel ensemble offer an original (the rather dull "Merry Christmas") and a couple of evergreens "Silent Night", "Days Of Christmas" and "Come All Ye Faithful". Only the funky version of the latter begins to spark but even there never kicks into top gear. Overall 'Christmas EP' meanders despite the publicist's promise of their "unique take on some classic Christmas tracks." The project is let down by demo quality synth accompaniments and rather stilted vocal arrangements. Let's wait for their debut album to be released in '08.
