Released to mark their 15th anniversary, this compilation is a mix of videos and in concert footage intercut with DeGarmo and Key relating humorous 'road' stories. The tape kicks off with an 'unplugged' medley - brave for a rock band, especially as this reviewer hates medleys - full song or nothing please. But the song bits themselves sound promising... Then, between the funny stories, several rather tasty tracks. Standouts for me were "666" (the famed vid shown, then banned by MTV) and "Competition" -excellent pop/rock a la Hall & Oates set to imaginative visuals. Definite 'play to non-Christian friend sans embarrassment' material. Generally the songs are good, with arrangements and playing of the usual high trans-Atlantic standard. Lyrics are okay but hardly Bruce Cockbum and occasionally slide into naffness, especially the final track - another medley of banal praise and Hal Lindsay-escapist-theology songs (have a Glossary Of Terms ready for that non-Christian friend), only partly redeemed by some fine soloing. Minus one square. Overall, a good introduction to D&K's music and to the guys themselves through the interviews -they come across as genuine, humorous and good friends. Interest is maintained by a well thought out running order and D&K's varied haricuts and facial hair configurations!
