Eurovision is the first thing that springs to mind on hearing this CD. Whether or not this is a good thing, you can be the judge. A little light is shed on further inspection of the album sleeve, as Debbie, born of Italian and Thai parents, spent most of her young life in Southern Italy, hence the Europop flavour of this, her first English language recording. The former model has much experience in leading worship in her local church and has in the past recorded albums in both Italian and Thai, showing a great diversity of lyrical music ability. I really wanted to like this album and parts of it are good, as Debbie clearly has a heart of worship which is best heard on the gentler tracks such as "So Beautiful". However, the overall feel of the album feels somewhat outdated.
