With a resume that includes work on Michael Jackson's 'His-tory' album, one has to sit up and take notice, particularly when the lady in question is described as having the range of a Minnie Riperton. There's no doubting Donna can sing - just check out the vocal pyrotechnics on "More Like You", and her voice is certainly given plenty of opportunities to shine as musical styles flit back and forth through pop, gospel, jazz-tinged and even classical styled tracks. Generally the mood is relaxed and soothing, although things do go horribly awry with the dreadfully cheesy opening to "Lullaby For Lexi" - Americans seem to like to include their toddlers doing something typically cute, don't they?
