Virginia-based Doug has been involved in Christian music since 1995 and this is his third album after 'Red Rain' and 'Have You Heard About Love?' The title track is filled with Farris' mellow tones over piano and percussion which weaves a tapestry of melodic beauty ("What if we loved like if he loved/What if we lived like he lived/Gave like he gives. . ./If our life told the story of who he is"). "Running Till The End" is almost as good with some great female harmonies. "There Is A River" opens with effortlessly bluesy electric guitar riffs, with the encouragement to "'feel the breath of Heaven". The final track "Love Like He Loves Me" is a more low-key acoustic number, re-visiting the lyric of the title track before picking up the timeless words of "All To Jesus I Surrender" in a poignant sung prayer. All in all, an excellent, stirring effort.
