The letter accompanying this tape cheerfully tells our reviews team that 'Finding Out' is "presently a private release but talks are underfoot for an official release possibly on an American label in the near future." One can only wonder at the sanity of our American cousins. For this tape is quite woeful, the singing as flat as a pancake, the songs perfunctory and on one track the vocals mixed so way down (intentionally,?) as to be largely inaudible above the drums, there, I've said it. I can now only wait for a Mr Angry from some Black Country church to write to me chastising me for my thoroughly un-Christian review. I think I'll go and pray.
