This is an extremely interesting first recording from four talented musicians in deepest Cornwall. It also presents a classification nightmate due to its mixture of musical styles! The first track, "Hearts Broken", has a 60s Byrds/Hollies style to it, the sort that can be heard in the background of TV programme Heartbeat! There's also some great rock 'n' roll guitar on "Down On The Ground" and rock guitar on "Tomorrow In Your Eyes". Add to this a bit of roots and some ballads and you'll see what I mean! The tracks are intended as demo recordings and although this does show in places, the tape provides a healthy starting point for the band, who I understand have received an offer of a deal in the Philippines for the first two tracks "Hearts Broken" and "Face Value" to be released.
