Eddy is a worship leader in the Huntingdon Valley area of Pennsylvania. He has been leading worship and recording music for over a decade and has previously released a handful of albums. His latest explores aspects of some of the original disciples' relationships with Jesus, as well as being extended to include believers today. This project was 18 months in the making and has resulted in some well-crafted songs. The cheerful guitar riff in "Dear God" is a good reflection of the laidback mood of the album, which the positive "I Never Walk Alone" helps to articulate. The lyrics can be a bit repetitive and predictable in places, such as in "You Give To Me" although a worshipful atmosphere is created. My favourite track is "You Are The Answer" which is an upbeat number, reminiscent of a psychedelic '60s folk tune. Not exactly groundbreaking but 'The Twelve' is still a work of considerable songwriting craft.
