'Pour Out Your Wonders' is a project that comes completely from the heart of a church in Newcastle-Upon-Tyme who are hungry to know more of their God and to see the area in which they live changed. This sort of heart and message will always carry with it a level of encouragement and inspiration. Christopher Smee is the worship leader at Elim Pentecostal Church and he is the main singer/songwriter of this album. Lyrically speaking this album contains a lot of hope giving biblical truth, songs like "Joshua Generation" and "Pour Out Your Wonders" certainly radiate with clear messages of the strength of a church full of joy and purpose. The musical arrangements and production of this recording is somewhat bog-standard so there isn't too much to excite senses, with vocals that could perhaps do better with a little more passion. But the heart of the project is still clearly discerned.
