In the sleevenotes, the president of Integrity says that they "view life on earth, for those who love Jesus, as choir practice for heaven." The choir on this album, from Prestonwood Baptist Church, Dallas, is 400 strong and accompanied by a 60-piece orchestra. Most of the songs are newly written by worship leader Geron Davis and soloists include Randy Philips of Phillips, Craig & Dean. Jesus is central, from the opening "Jesus, You Are Welcome" through the 15 live tracks lasting 66 minutes. Geron not only links songs but during "We Sing Worthy" shares a family story. Personally, I prefer something less traditional that the general feel of this album but the production, with its additional studio recordings, is, as you would expect from the personnel involved, first class. My own favourite track is the title track, sung by Geron's wife, Becky.
