Gary and Mike. God bless you. The Spirit of early ccm was like an angelic visitation ...honoring God and soothing the heart of us Jesus People during a troubling time in our country. I remember finally discovering a music that represented the times without compromising the lyrics. I hope I can find your cds or mp3's.

Hello everyone. This is Mike Moore from the music duo Gospel Seed. I was really touched to hear that so many remember and loved our music. It was a great time in our lives from 1973-1980 traveling and singing for Jesus!
I currently am Senior pastor of Crossroads Grace Community Church in Manteca Calif.
I have also had the album digitized and put on a C.D. I have copies available for anyone who may be interested in getting one. If you will email me at Mike@crossroadsgrace.org I can get one to you.

Still planting the Gospel Seed
Thanks to all!
Mike Moore

Greetings in the name of our lord. I saw and heard the Gospel Seed in Brooklyn NY, 1975 or 1976. I was ministered to by the words and message and had a tape of your album. It has outlived it usefulness and I would like to obtain a CD. Any help in this would be appreciated. May God continue to bless and enlarge your ministry, Pastor Mike. Maybe we can hear the Gospel Seed LIVE when we meet in glory.

After reading the comments, I got on the internet and did a search......had done so before but had not included "Growing" with Gospelseed....and found 2 LPs on Amazon through alternate sites.

There is one left as I bought the other and will figure out how to covert to digital so I will be able to listen to it again....something I have been wanting to do for many years.

Thank you Gary and Mike for many hours of listening in the past and now many more in the future!!!!

I bought the album sometime in the 80's and the music not only became a favorite of mine but it also had great meaning to me as my faith was growing. I lost the album and the cassette tape I made (the 2nd tape as I wore out the first) during the transition to digital and have kept hoping I could find another copy.

The stories told by the music still run through my thoughts occasionally.....they really had great lessons in the words. Thanks, Gospelseed.

I would love to find a copy to let my ears hear them again.

I have this classic vinyl album by this duo; sad to say it's the only release they had. They had a nice early ccm sound. Myrrh label was starting off basically, and introducing many new artists. I had heard a song from this lp "To The Father" written by duo; luv it!!
Just a beautiful song to be heard. I also would like to comment on the beautiful artwork for the cover; it definitely has that 70's style & color; kudos to artist David McCall Johnston. Gary & Mike, the wonderful duo, wrote every song but one for the album; both guys sing all the vocals. Their sound reminds me of the early John Michael Talbot albums. "The Fool" is a noteworthy song; great lyrics!! I see the duo's point with song "Top Ten" even though the lyrics to the song come across judgemental in a way. Folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary recorded a beautiful & most memorable version of "Blowin' in the Wind". We do not get all the answers here, and sometimes they are blowin' in the wind; The breath of GOD's wind.
It's nice to see so many individuals recalling this
memorable early ccm duo; nice comments & memories. I commend the reply comments, especially from Gary Luttrell's daughter Jennifer. GOD Bless!-Don

I was deeply moved when I attended a concert of Gospel Seed in my teens, and was able to get a cassette that the church made. I have played it for my kids, but worry that it is so old it might break next time I try to play it. Please let me know where I might find a copy of their music and please keep me posted on if they have a concert. I will fly my whole family to CA just to hear you all perform again!
