Now here's what I call a diverse tapestry of worship, born from a desire to see city-wide, inter-denominational church unity in Minnesota. Bandleader/guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Dan Adler explains that the band, "which consists of African American, Native American, Hispanic, Hmong, East Indian, Filipino, Chinese, Trinidadian and Caucasian members, has brought Christians together across racial and denominational lines to worship and pray in order to build Biblical unity in the Church." Visionary! As Adler's closing song articulates, "We can do together/What we cannot do apart." Here is some of the fruit. Adler leads 12 vocalists, a four-piece brass section, drums, bass, percussion, two keyboards, electric and acoustic guitar. He explains that "despite the diversity of style, all of our songs are used in a congregational participative way at the.Worship Celebrations." The band straddles different styles with great aplomb; you would be forgiven for thinking each song was by a different band each specialising in their genre: a remarkable testament not only to the skills of the band members but to Adler, who as well as producing, engineering and mixing, and by the sound of it carrying the vision for the band and its ministry, has written all of the songs himself! But the excellence does not end with the music alone. The words carry plenty of challenge and encouragement too. Don't miss this!

I have the privilege of serving on the HOTC board, and I can tell you that Dan and Sandy and the Band live what they sing. I have served on many boards and organizations and rarely have I seen more dedication, tenacity, and committment in a group of people that these. It is reassuring to know that musical excellence, spiritual depth, desire for unity in the Body, and committment to a vision for ministry is still 'alive and well' in modern praise music.

My spouse and I had the privilege of knowing Dan Adler in college and seeing his ministry flourish. Even as a student, he always had a true servant's heart for God's work, and has used his incredible musical gifts to glorify Him. He is sincere, Godly, gifted, and very approachable. Buy this CD or any other HOTC music; you will not be disappointed.

I have had the privilege of participating in a number of HOTC worship events, and they are all incredible. I am glad this Spirit-filled album captures to some degree what happens every time this band performs - electrifying!

This CD is fantastic and probably the best to come out of the Twin CIties in a long time, but as with any studio recording it doesn't do justice to the incredible experience of "being there." HOTC performs about once each month in various venues accross the Twin Cities and since we discovered them, we wouldn't miss a chance to worship with this band. Its an unbelieveable spritual event where the presence of Go'ds Spirit is unmistakable to all participating. I recommend this CD to everyone, but if you really want to find out what worship should be like - don't fail to come here them LIVE.

I gave this CD as a gift to a friend at work. She loved it and said she has listened to the lyrics alot. She is awaiting a new grandbaby and this CD has given her comfort riding to work as awaits the new arrival in July. She had mentioned to me that she loved the various mixes of songs on this CD and is telling her other friends about the music. My congratulations to Dan Adler and the Band for sharing God's message of racial reconciliation with this music. God loves each one of us regardless of color and blesses us through this worship band.

It's true - The Band is wonderful and you do truly enter into a spirit of Worship with this Band. They are annointed - and their hearts - along with their songs, do truly bring you into a worshipful state! It's a great band and I am blessed to live in the same city as they are located! Buy this album! Best wishes,

Elise W.
