Didn't really care for the opener "For By Grace" (Ephesians 2:8-10) one of those 'insp' ballads with an overblown production and a vocal by Mark Ivey but it soon settles down to a gentle ballad. "Everything We Need" (2 Peter 1:3,4) and a gently rhythmic Lisa Bevill-led song "Keep Yourselves" (Jude 1:20,21). Most interesting to crop up in the vocalists is Paul Q Pek, one time member of moshers One Bad Pig! Excellent pop gospel in a series designed to get those key Scriptures lodged firmly into your head.

On the comment in the review about the series being designed
to get key scriptures firmly lodged in your head? it works!
worked for me anyway.
I bought loads of these in tape form over 11/12 years ago
now & I still remeber the songs & the scriptures they were
based on (loosely! usually have to still check up exact
chptr & verse). Knowing the power of the word in
situations, what better thing to have than the scriptures in
your heart & a tune too to lift you out of some low moments
(e.g. anxiety in the heart of a man weighs him down but a
good word makes him glad - scripture from proverbs by Lynn
DeShazo from the "overcoming anxiety" album).
I'm actually thinking of recollecting them as CDs now as
some of them keep coming back & worth using in the future
for friends & kids. Will encourage others to do the same
if they can. The word is our most awesome weapon & via
music is an excellent way to learn it!
