In a bright and innovative CD/DVD package American songster Jeremy Camp has combined his engaging music with meditations to motivate his audience. Following hard on from his brilliant album 'Beyond Measure' (2006), Camp has delivered another fresh output of pop rock with a mixture of tempos. Soaked in Scripture, Jeremy sees his fifth studio album as being "a call to action through love." Backed up by a stimulating DVD of visual meditations on the Scriptures that inspired the songs, Jeremy has worked hard with veteran producer Brown Bannister to bring an inspirational recording onto disc. Amongst a dozen superb songs, the poignant track "Healing Hand Of God" features Jeremy's wife Adie (formerly the lead singer of South African pop rockers The Benjamin Gate) singing with him about surviving tragedy (Camp's first wife died of cancer just four and a half months into their marriage). "There Will Be A Day" takes the listener into hope - the Christian hope. Jeremy remarked during the 2008 presidency campaign in the US, "I've been seeing a lot of these posters for the presidency saying 'Hope' and 'Change' and I see the economy and how people are holding on to see if the economy will go back up. I just keep thinking that the only hope and the only never-changing truth we have is Jesus Christ. He doesn't change, he doesn't go up and down, he is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the only thing that can give us hope." Recommended, if you're after stimulating thoughts on Scripture alongside classily produced/performed pop rock.
