Royalties from the album are being donated to EA's Creation Care project and a national tour of the 'Whose Earth' will be hitting the road in '95. A track from this album was featured on a recent Cross Rhythms Experience featuring the delicious voice of "guest" Caroline Bonnett. But risking calls of "mutiny" in the CR office, I think there are far better tracks on offer here. Try the eerily haunting "A Healing Thing (There Is Hope)" with a somnolent male vocalist (Jonny Baker, Jon Birch, Paul Catchpole? - the sleeve unhelpfully doesn't make it clear) or the buoyantly rhythmic opener "Builder Of The Kingdom". The lyrics throughout call on the Church to look again at her responsibility to care for the earth and do so with passion and without the hectoring rant that sometimes affects those exhorting us to care for the environment. Investigate this album.
