A tape of prime quality songs, from a highly accomplished singer/songwriter whose application to her craft has achieved excellence in all departments. These are songs of real depth, touching the essence of this strange experience we all live out each day. There are hints of hard times endured, and struggles survived, a sense that these pieces were written to celebrate the arrival of calm after the storm. It's the music of one who can now look around and enjoy simple beauty after tasting inner turmoil. The style's soft, melodic pop of the folky variety, beautifully gentle voice, silky instrumentation - lovely stuff.

I find the words and music marry perfectly and it calms my soul. It has been instrumental in several not-yet-believer friends asking deeper questions about faith.
