Right on the money in terms of the overall sound, Junior Miller's album will appeal to you if you're already getting down to Papa San or Stitchie. Lyrics are in your face and the music grooves whether you're listening to the dance remix of the opening cut "Jesus We A Praise" or the more familiar sounds of "Determined". There are plenty of excellent moments on this accomplished album so standouts include the lively fun of "Praise Him" and the rockier, call and response "Yuh No Hear". My favourite has got to be "Testimony" with the creative use of coughs and splutters as the rhythm track - sounds weird but it works! Finally, the more laid back "Love God And Live" shuffles gently through its message and it's evident that Junior Miller is a man touched by God with plenty to say. Top toastin', great grooves and powerful proclamation all wrapped up with plenty of Jamaican attitude and style.
