Justin Rizzo is worship leader at the International House Of Prayer in Kansas City and this is his first solo album (he released a joint effort in 2006 with worship co-leader Luke Wood which has a more rock-orientated feel). This set includes 13 songs which range over a variety of musical styles, but are all what one might call megachurch arena anthems. Justin wrote or co-wrote all the tracks and his vocals and acoustic guitar are supplemented by a very competent bunch of musicians including Jordan Vanderplate and Adam Snlegowski on guitars, Francisco Arteaga on bass and Larry Lucky on drums. The opening track is a powerful (but musically slightly chaotic) version of "Psalm 93", which sets the scene for the rest of the album as the other songs all have a psalm-like quality both in terms of the lyrical content and the intensity of the music. There's even a "Vocal Selah" amongst them. Some of the songs have a simplicity about them, such as "Glory Will Cover The Earth", which begins with a stripped down piano accompaniment before building with a string section. Another standout is the title track with its eerie introduction and another expansive arrangement while "I Will Praise You", which is clearly based on Psalm 40 is strong too. Pretty stirring stuff.

Product Description
A psalmist rooted deep in the Word of God, Justin Rizzo releases his debut album, 'Found Faithful'. Like King David, Justin uses his music as a means to connect with Christ and to pour out his heart to the Lord. Dynamic worship comes forth as the attributes of God are declared and the extravagance of Jesus is proclaimed. Justin’s rich vocals point the way for the listener to enter into worship while rock-driven melodies express the glory of praising God.
