This is a varied collection of soul-tinged pop material ranging from slow ballads to uptempo dance numbers, competently produced by a team which includes Michael Omartian, and performed with verve and considerable vocal range by the artist. It is not overtly Christian in content (the final track "My Life Is In Your Hands" withstanding) but what ultimately sets this album apart from most others in this genre are the songs themselves. There are strong melodies, instantly catchy hook lines and the standard of songwriting throughout is impressive. Like its predecessor it will probably cross over pop in the States. Highlights are the opener "Just You", "Tell Me Where It Hurts" (NOT a meditation on dental surgery) and "Mission Of Love". A welcome addition to any pop collection.

This ccm pop songstress brings another collection of songs from the heart. What a nice blend of songs, to include "Never My Love", the classic hit song by the 60's group The Association. I had bought the cd single "If I'm Not in Love" a radio hit at the time. The cd also included the pop ccm radio fave "Mission of Love"; I simply luv this song! Great song Kathy! "Mission.." was definitely her song to sing!! Another all time fave is the remarkable "My Life is in YOUR Hands" a destined ccm classic, if not already!! There is such passion in Kathy's voice, she tugs gently upon the heartstrings with that soulful sound.
GOD Bless! -Don
