Good grief! Was it really 12 years ago? This reissue brings back a lot of good songs I had forgotten. The original heralded an artist of real promise, which has been more than fulfilled. If you've heard her latest, you'll know what I mean. Here, on an easy-paced number like "Hand In Hand" Kathy's interpretation is an object lesson in total control of a difficult song. Throughout the album, her timing, emotional input and gentle power present every song to its best effect. The title track still makes its impact, but each song is a choice selection and hearing them again is like welcoming back old friends. Glad it's been re-released in the shiny format.
