Keith is a UCB presenter/producer who's clearly also a gifted singer/songwriter. Well, he is from the Land Of Song after all! The nine songs, totalling just over 30 minutes, are a collection of testimony and expression of faith which will, in turn, be an encouragement to others. Keith's writing talent is a real gift. He's written all the songs except "(Someone Understands) The Pain Those Fears Bring", a collaboration with Jonathan Lewis who produced the album, recorded at King's Palace Studios, Swansea. The relatively simple production actually contains fine instrumentation and a good variety of arrangements. Keith clearly knows the importance of knowing the presence of Jesus in "On My Side" and the gentle "Basking In Your Son", making him accessible in the questioning (no punches pulled) "Small J (Ashamed Of The Gospel)" and fully relevant, looking to his return in "Faith In Something Bigger". The greatness of our God is proclaimed in the mellow "Endless Grace" and the upbeat "Oh! My Father", Keith's most personal song, shows delight in his father coming to love Jesus and the wider aspect - "(You Make Your Choice) This Side Of Heaven", I also really like his interpretation of Psalm 139. I hope Keith's excellent private recording is widely sought out.
