While there are soft acoustic songs on this album by an Ohio-based singer/songwriter, Morgan's rock credentials are declared by the powerful opening track - the title song. The lyrics have a strong redemption theme (eg, "By his wounds we're paid in full"). The theme is continued in the more mellow "I Found Jesus" ("I know my debt was paid on Calvary that day"). This track may be a tad repetitious, as many prayers are, but it introduces the gorgeous backing vocals of Amy Watson-Miller. On the next track, "Unknown Soul", the lady gets to sing lead on a hard-hitting song about an unwanted pregnancy. She returns on the beautiful gift-themed ballad "Take My Breath Away", which to my ears is the best track on the album. Morgan has his own take on the sentiments of probably the most famous hymn of all with "Amazing Grace, Amazing Love". It's pleasant but one of the weaker tracks. He also has a go at the Lord's Prayer ("Hallelujah You Are God"), always a tough task musically, but again while it's acceptable enough it fails to excite. Better is the catchy Christmas song "Jesus Is The Reason".
