I tried an experiment with this and persuaded one of my more gullible friends that Amy Grant had released a new album and played this to him. He believed me. That tells you a lot about this album. Like many a female American vocalist she's been to the Ms Grant Finishing School Of Breathy Vocal Performances. Amazingly this does not mean that this album is not a pleasurable experience. The excellent production work of John and Dino Elephante guarantees the quality and if you want to feel the width, some of Nashville's best tunesmiths have written the songs. The title song is a huge ballad and that seems to be the place where Kelli is most at home on this album where she is letting the larynx loose. Lyrically, my favourite is "Only His Tomb" with its refrain "Only his tomb is empty/Not the promises he made" and throughout this CD Kellie has much to say about God bringing meaning to life when it seems most confusing. Solid pop, beautiful ballads and poignant lyrics give this album moments of true inspiration.

I was in attendance when you sang at the Buffalo Nazarene Church in Larue County. I remeber that you were related to the Price family and just read the name Lobb in some of the news about your album. It has been a long time ago, but I loved your music and especially the message.

KELLI,
I Love the way you sing, Peace in the Midst of the Storm.

Can you tell me who wrote the words and music to this song? I am looking for sheet music.
Thanks,
Lamar

Kelli,

I still listen to both of your CDs regularly. I truly enjoy your style of music and have been moved over the years by the Christ centered message that each song brought to the forefront. I had the unique pleasure of meeting you once at the grand opening of the Family Christian Bookstore in Middletown, Ohio. You were so gratious to come and spend time with us to make the day special. It truly was the highlight of the day to hear you sing!!! I hope that you are still using your tallents for the Lord! It would be awesome to maybe hear from you again someday! If you ever record again put me down for the first copy!!! :)

Blessed by your gift to the Lord,
Gary

I remember Kelli Lobb. She had that great sense of humor and those terrific pipes. The Fanny Crosby Story would have been duller without her.

Peace, Kel.
