This is the first in a collection of albums showcasing the well known hymns that feature in the Army's Hymnals. You will hear these songs of praise in Salvation Army halls around the world, and of course in many high streets (not just in Rockingham Road where the Kettering band is based). Contained here are well known hymns such as "Crown Him With Many Crowns" (Elvey) and "Heaven Came Down" (Peterson), alongside more recent compositions such as "As The Deer" (Nystrom) and "In Christ Alone" (Getty). The playing is first class with bandmaster Richard Phillips at the helm. With 32 tracks this offers great value and is highly recommended.
