How many artists can you name that are still producing material after 36 years? The Rolling Stones may not be an obvious choice but Larry does a very amusing Mick Jagger impression on this CD, along with an impromptu rendition of the Beatles oldie "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" accompanied by Randy Stonehill. There are also the comical treats of "Spirit In The Sky" when Larry has a theological objection to the lyrics, and the Beach Boys track "Surfer Girl" with the distinctive vocal harmonies. Larry combines stand up comedy with the folk music that is reminiscent of Dylan the Rabbit from Magic Roundabout. Although most of the tracks are acoustic live performances like duelling banjos, several are studio recordings, and some are by Randy alone. There is only one track that is distinctive because of the electric rock guitar. As a prolific artist with something like 90 albums including bootlegs and compilations, this may seem like just another, but it will suit fans and the uninitiated alike who have yet to discover the origins of Christian rock.

With reviews like this 9 out of 10 review CR is becoming
culpable for cheapening Larry's back catalogue almost as
much as Larry himself is. Most of the live duets with Larry
and Randy are short jokey send ups of other people's songs.
The studio selections are rough mixes of unfinished demos.
How can this be an excellent release almost as good as Only
Visiting This Planet, In Another land or Welcome to
Paradise... its an at times distorted AUDIENCE RECORDING...
yup that's right not even a soundboard recording far less a
multitrack recording which has been professionally mixed
down! So enjoy the gig folks... as recorded by an audiece
member on a cheapo tape walkman with a dodgy microphone as
this is how this 9 out of 10 release was recorded.
