An eight track introductory CD from this Kent-based band highlights the challenges that face any band starting out. It takes a while to discover your musical identity and so for the moment I'll just describe it as pop. The one thing that links it together is the worshipful theme that runs through most of the songs. "Centre" is a modern pop rock praise song whilst "Soul Shiver" is more laid back programmed poppy fare. The band seem to have a passion for the stripped down acoustic sounds that fill up the middle section of the release and I really like the view of the cross captured on "Forever" and the brooding "Generation Cross". Production wise, though it's obviously on a budget, it's pretty clearly recorded.
