These two, in the guise of Out Of The Ark Music, have been creating music for schools and churches for some 10 years and this CD acts as a kind of 'Greatest Hits' with a couple of new songs thrown in. If anything, this demonstrates the importance of quality arrangements and production (here provided by the ever dependable Andy Harsant, Bruce Pont and Trevor Michael at ICC), because in truth the songs themselves are nothing special, ranging as they do from ballads, rock'n'roll, through reggae, calypso and dance pop, as many children's albums do. What sets this apart, aside from the above, is the sheet music included in the booklet, the delusion of backing tracks and the performances coaxed out of the kids by the producers. Worth investigating.
