Once again Mark and Helen Johnson have produced a very special set of songs, this time for Christmas celebrations. Written in a variety of themes and styles from rock to baroque, the new addition to the 'Songs For EVERY...' series is guaranteed to make Christmas in many primary schools truly memorable. Departing from their usual method of 'borrowing' children from local schools, they trained a small choir of eight children to record at a professional 24-track studio. And very charming (also refreshingly different) they sound! The easy to use spiral-bound songbook (illustrated by primary school children) has 15 original new songs, with piano music, melody, chords and lyric sheets; the superb cassette features the children singing on side A, with a professionally recorded backing track for effective performances on side B. A rich music resource packed with lively and sensitive songs that children will want to sing again and again. Well done Mark and Helen.
