22 year old Martyn is the worship and youth pastor at Exeter City Community Church and this is his third recording (not counting one with the Exeter University CU). It's an adventurous project as the subtitle 'We just pressed the record button, went and had a coffee, and Martyn worshipped the Lord' indicates. Certainly the opening track "Medley In F" featuring five self-composed songs of worship and weighing in at just over 21 minutes would tax any muso, and if truth be told any listener, particularly as he only just hits the top note on the phrase "Let your glory fall." Somewhat more accessible is the rather lovely "Intimacy" and Jono Hall's excellent "Abandoned". Not an easy-to-get-into recording, but what a worship heart this brother has!
