My reservation about this CD began when I saw the cover, an out-of-focus picture of a sickly sweet music box with hearts on it. My opinion took a downward turn from there on in (the CD is a ghastly pink colour). What on earth inspired (if that is the right word) anyone to produce this I have no idea apart from to prey on unsuspecting grannies when the rush for Christmas presents hots up. The CD contains 21 hymns played by music boxes and the blurb on the back spouts such nonsense about special memories evoked by such devices. I can honestly see no point whatsoever in buying this album. If you want to listen to hymns then there are plenty of excellent recordings played with real instruments and if you particularly like music boxes then I would suggest that you buy the 21 boxes yourself, at least then you'll have something to put things in.
