Married then divorced then remarried to each other following Chris Teague's conversion to Christianity, the now happy couple have had plenty of ups and downs in life and this naturally informs their own brand of polished and carefully candid pop. Such is the skill of both writers that proceedings on this, their second full album, never get overbearingly introspective and the Teagues have struck the perfect balance between reflecting their struggles with realism whilst offering up the redemptive hope found only through Jesus. Amongst the most personal and poignant is Chris' "I Still Believe In You" which speaks of his faith journey with honesty and power whilst Steph's "Take This" tells of the heartbreak she faced when she and Chris went their separate ways after being married the first time around. Elsewhere, the gorgeous "Redemption Skies" stays on the right side of schmaltz as they sing about their baby boy before a great jazz guitar version of the old hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" rounds off this exemplary offering from two people who are the living embodiment of God's rescuing power.
