Looking for male and female folkey pop? Look no further than this husband and wife duo, Chris and Steph Teague from Nashville who with some nimbly picked acoustic guitar and a little bit of percussion bring us five self-penned songs. And very nice songs they are too. "Lead Me Through" is a devotional ("Keep me close, keep me close to you/Father lead, father lead me through") which is genuinely haunting while the slower "You Pursue" is easy on the ear and "Illuminate" has a walking blues rhythm and some nice jazz chords. Clearly OOTD are a class act and I for one look forward to a properly produced full length album.
