This, Peter Brunton‘s debut album, is nothing less than sensational. Combining stunning lyrical imagery, breathtaking songs and the innovative production of Phil Lidstone and Ross Hamilton, this is sure to be one of the finest releases of 2001. Each track is a highlight and you can be guaranteed a rollercoaster ride of diversity, from the punchy title track to the stark beauty of "How Precious", touching on the polished soul of "Loving Like Angels" and "Open Up" en route. "Mutter Like My Mother" stands out for lyrical genius and the delicious jazz exposition "Today Is Feeling Better" (complete with authentic Dixieland break) is reason enough to buy this album. You will not be disappointed.
