Originally from Perth, Australia, Rachel describes the material on this 2013 six-song EP as "songs of healing on my journey of faith." The singer/songsmith often sings them in churches while sharing how Jesus delivered her from the trauma of domestic abuse and violence, restoring her life to wholeness. And melodically easy-on-the-ear these songs are too. Rachel's sweet-toned, perfectly pitched vocals are encased in a modern production sound by studio maestro Andy Baker. Probably the best track is the haunting, worshipful ballad "Beautiful Saviour" but wherever you dip in these songs do indeed show a quality of inner peace that will unquestionably minister to both the broken and those who love the Lord about whom Rachel so sweetly sings.
