From the little to be gleaned from this band's website, these eight songs were born out of some life changing experiences to principle vocalist, songwriter and producer Roger Gilley. Unfortunately, despite being earnestly written, sung and played, this can't make up for the general tedium of the whole thing. Every song follows virtually the same arrangement, style and pace, with the same slightly wavering heavily accented vocal from Gilley which eventually means it all just blends into the background somewhere and nothing really stands out. It's a shame really because hidden in amongst the cliché is some good lead guitar work from J T Longoria, some solid drumming from Jerry Landrum and some fine backing vocals. But it truth, the mediocre songs and flawed lead vocals drag it down.
