When I reviewed the 'High Above The Nations' CD which accompanies this excellent songbook back in CR63 I expressed my enthusiasm for a publishing and recording initiative which didn't shut the door on local church songwriters and worship leaders who don't have the weight of Bible Week behind them. This intriguing collection not only brings you some of the major names in contemporary worship like Reuben Morgan, Graham Kendrick and Darlene Zschech but also excellent and underrated people like David Hind, Paul Critchley, Tim Lomax and Chris Orange. Two of my favourite songs are "When I Pray" and "The Lord Is Marching Out" from the gifted song writing pen of Richard Lewis, the man who runs World Wide Worship who publish the book. One of the most consistently good songbooks around, this deserves wide circulation in local churches.
