In the 80's I owned both of her recordings and looked forward to more from her only to see her fall off the face of the earth. Whatever happened to Robyn? To this day I STILL sing some of her songs to the LORD. Not long ago I heard someone talking about someone else and the song "Cast the First Stone" went through my head. Wherever she is I hope she's doing well. And I hope she knows how much her words and music affected my life.

As of Sunday, she appeared to be doing well. :) The link to her website is http://www.robinliner.com/index.html.
There, you can find information about her upcoming album, book, and samples of her scripts.

I bought this album probably 20 years ago and it's great. I did a search, wondering whatever happened to this talented vocal artist, and stumbled upon this site. The album is full of inspirational songs celebrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Robyn was married several years ago. Her husband now pastors a church in Asheville and they have 6 kids. That's why there has been a lull in the music production. But she has recently been back in the studio and has a new project coming out this fall called Serenading Jesus. Here's a link to a pre-mix sampler - http://www.xtreak.com/go/eaststream/130416/Serenading_Jesus_ Pre-mix_Sampler.mp3
I know a web site is in the works, but I do not have the address yet.

The opinions expressed in the Reader Comments are not necessarily those held by Cross Rhythms.
Today, the chorus of the song, ''Carpenter'' went through my head from, "Always Robyn" by Christian singer, Robyn Pope. After almost 40 years, I still remember that radio hit, the cassette I had and meeting her after a concert in Charlston, SC. Is that album available in CD or download?
