Based in Glasgow, but hailing from across the globe, Royal Foundlings are one of Scotland's newest Christian rock bands. In fact, they haven't played a gig yet! On this, their first EP, we are treated to four self-penned rock tracks that showcase their musical talents. Although a little rough around the edges, the production of the material works well with the overall sound. This four-piece group consists of some excellent musicians who sound tight as they slip in some stylish changes in tempo and clever solos. The guitar work is accomplished and is driven by a throbbing bass. Maybe the vocals appear at times to be a little thin and in need of some backing support, but overall this is a pleasing sound. A credible debut.
