I’m a sucker for the style of rock which clearly demonstrates its Scottish origins. Ever since Big Country and Runrig there have been an explosion of bands from that most special part of Britain whose Celtic tinge brings rootsy, gutsy fire to good ol' rock 'n' roll. Although this Fraserburgh four piece are in the obvious first raw stages of development, there is an engaging approach to their sound which keeps me playing this long after far more expensively produced items have been discarded. The riff is good and the lyric surprisingly mature. If you want to support grassroots ministry send off for this single.
