Paul Leddington Wright has a long association with Coventry Cathedral, and therefore with the St Michael's Singers, as well as being a regular musical director for Radio 4's Daily Service. If you like your hymns fairly traditional - organ and mixed choir - you'll like this collection of favourite morning hymns mostly old ("Christ Whose Glory Fills The Skies", "O Worship The Lord In The Beauty Of Holiness" and so on) and one new ("Spirit Of The Living God"). The arrangements are fresh and sung well - just what one would expect of the choir of a large church or cathedral with a good musical director.
