How come all the best children's workers are Scottish? This album is so much fun that it transcends a small budget and a few hickups in the production. Particular fun is "Noisy World Blues" which comes complete with myriad sound effects and a chicken solo! Then there's a Carribean rhythm on "It's So Good To Give Thanks" and a kids chorus on "Waiting For A Nice Surprise" which ISN'T vomit inducing. (Maybe Scottish accents are inherently more appealing than Nashville ones.) Stephen says he was aiming for something that reflected a more "earthy" theology than many children's releases. He's succeeded.
