The choir was formed in the early thirties and sang in various churches, prisons and concert halls throughout the country as well as undertaking some overseas trips. After the death of Rev. Douglas B. Gray the choir reformed in a much smaller group as 'The London Crusader Chorale'. It still operates to this day.

I think the choir was formed after the war. The leaders name I believe to be Grey.I know my Uncle used to
play for them, Ron Cooper. My auntie also sang with
them. They made some recordings with Kingsway Music, and also some radio.I can remember they traveled to Hospitals and prisons to proclaim the gospel in music.I also believe they traveled to Norway. The Church they attended was
Elim in Clapham London I think.
May have some more info in my fathers papers.

Tony, please contact me about Geoff or Ron Cooper. I am interested in their work for the Camberwell Elim Church

Where can I find further information about this choir? Is it still active?
