The Praise Team are three guys from, I think, Detroit, one of whom, Erick Scott, wrote or co-wrote the four tracks on this EP while another, Eddie Archie, takes the vocal lead on "Christ Is The Way". However, the standout vocal contribution here is the soulful one offered by Priscilla Green on the opener, a very easy-on-the-ear "Bow Down". Silky smooth MOR with soul and jazz tinges, production from Darren Horn and a sleeve bristling with Scripture give this a professional edge. I'm not sure what distribution this got Stateside but it's every bit as good as the major label stuff without being distinctively different.
