Anybody espying the cathedral on the cover and the name 'London' in the artist credit might reasonably expect traditional choral hymnody recorded in some ancient place of worship. In fact these are 25 hymns ("Trust And Obey", "Power In The Blood", "It Is Well With My Soul" etc) arranged by American Larry Mayfield for choir and string-filled orchestra. Very bland, very anonymous, and with packaging that strives to suggest there is some thematic unity concerning 'time' running through the hymns here - there isn't! Hymnody turned into muzak for undiscerning bookshop browsers and hymn loving nostalgists.
